Juventus Makes Super Bid for Super Eagles Star

wilfred ndidi

A recent report indicates that Serie A powerhouse Juventus is considering a transfer for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The Nigerian international is set to celebrate his 29th birthday in December and is available for a €9 million release clause due to the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League in the 2024-25 season.

It is important to note that Ndidi should not be viewed as a substitute for Douglas Luiz, as their skill sets differ significantly.

Other Premier League teams, including Manchester United and Everton, have also expressed interest in the midfielder, while Juventus awaits his final decision regarding his next club.

Ndidi has been with Leicester City since 2017, when he transferred from Belgian club Genk for €17 million. His current contract runs until 2027.

Juventus is also in discussions with another player in England, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who has expressed a strong desire to move to Turin this summer and is currently in negotiations with the Bianconeri.

Additionally, Juventus has already secured their first summer signing, Jonathan David, who has joined the club on a free transfer, signing a five-year contract.

Despite the ongoing transfer speculation, Ndidi has yet to make a definitive choice regarding his future.
