Kidnappers Demand N20 Million Ransom for 17-Year-Old Post-UTME Student Abducted in Delta

A 17-year-old boy named Emmanuel has been reportedly kidnapped in Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area, Delta State.

Harrison Gwamnishu, of the Safe City Volunteer Foundation, revealed the incident in a Facebook post on Tuesday. He said Emmanuel had traveled from Lagos to Obiaruku to sit for his Post-UTME examination.

The post revealed that Emmanuel was kidnapped along with two other individuals.

Gwamnishu explained, “The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of 20 million naira for Emmanuel an amount that is completely out of reach for his struggling family, who have never come across such a sum before.”

He called on stakeholders, security agencies, and compassionate people of Delta State to urgently intervene, help secure the safe release of this innocent young boy, and offer support to his devastated family.
