Kwale DPO, Okoh nominated for Eminent Peace Ambassador

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has nominated DPO, CSP Edwin Igoche Okoh, Psc, LLB, LLM, PhD in view, Divisional Police Officer in Kwale, Delta State, for the position of Eminent Peace Ambassador.

He received his nomination letter in Kwale from the IAWPA after a visit by officials of the association.

His nomination is to commemorate the forthcoming celebration of “United Nations International Day of African Child” which will take place on the 14th of June, 2023 in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital.

A statement by the International Spokesman of the association, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke said “the Divisional Police Officer, DPO CSP Edwin Igoche Okoh has carried out a lot of humanitarian interventions in the society. Some of his interventions have aided youths sentenced to illegal jail terms in one of the most sensitive correctional facilities in the country like Kirikiri Prison to be reunited back to their families.”

Speaking with journalists in the state, the respected police personnel who goes by the nickname “No Tree Can Make A Forest”, thanked the association for the nomination as an Eminent Peace Ambassador and also singled out Amb. Christian Isaac who nominated him for praise.

The IAWPA is an International Civil Society Organization with a global mandate to promote peace and appoints Credible Personalities whose lifestyles are anchored in promoting Peace as Eminent Peace Ambassadors across the 193 member states of the United Nations.
