LG Poll: Delta Speaker rallies Warri South-West PDP supporters

Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, on Monday called on Warri South-West PDP supporters to continue their support for the party.

He emphasised that the PDP remains unrivalled in Delta State, urging members to remain united and loyal.

With the local government elections approaching on July 13, 2024, Guwor expressed strong confidence in the PDP’s chances, predicting a comprehensive victory for the party’s chairmanship candidate and all 20 councillorship seats.

Guwor praised Chief Sylvester Oromoni, the chairmanship candidate, as a dedicated and pragmatic leader who will represent the party effectively.

He stressed the importance of active participation in the upcoming LGA campaign, highlighting collective engagement as crucial for electoral success.The supporters’ enthusiastic response demonstrated the party’s preparedness for the campaign kickoff on Wednesday.

The meeting, held at the Speaker’s residence in Ekpan, included notable PDP figures such as LGA party Chairman Chief Favour Izoukumo, former speaker Rt. Hon. JFK Omatsone, Chief Boro Opudu, campaign coordinator Hon. Raymond Pira, chairmanship candidate Chief Sylvester Oromoni and his vice, Mrs. Christy Omamofe, Media and Publicity Committee chairman Pst. Arex Akemotubo, and hundreds of loyal party members.
