The Football Association (FA) has announced that the Community Shield clash between Premier League titleholders Liverpool Football Club and FA Cup champions Crystal Palace is set for Sunday, 10 August, with a kick-off at 3pm BST.
In a statement released on its website on Friday, the FA confirmed that the match will take place at Wembley Stadium and will be streamed live and exclusively on TNT Sports 1.
The statement further mentioned that additional information regarding the fixture will be provided later.
Manchester City currently holds the trophy after overcoming Manchester United 7–6 in a penalty shootout following a 1–1 draw in the previous season’s edition.
In response to the news, Liverpool indicated on their official website that complete ticketing details will be shared on Liverpoolfc.com soon.

Liverpool has participated in 24 Community Shield matches, claiming victory in 16 of them, with five being draws, the most recent occurring in 2022.
On the other hand, this match will be Crystal Palace’s inaugural appearance in the FA Community Shield, now in its 103rd year, following their remarkable FA Cup triumph at Wembley in April 2025.
Additionally, this will be Palace’s 14th visit to the national stadium. Last season, they achieved victories in both of their matches at Wembley, against Aston Villa and Manchester City, without allowing any goals.
