MORE Agenda: Deaconess Oborevwori urges prayers for husband’s administration

The wife of the Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has called on Deltans to pray for her husband Governor Oborevwori, to enable him fulfil his vision encapsulated in the MORE Agenda.

Deaconess Oborevwori who is the founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, disclosed this during a visit from a twin delegation of Christian leaders on Tuesday, at the Government House, Asaba.

Speaking to the delegates of the Christian Women Intercessors For All Nation (CWIFAN) led by the Vision Coordinator, Dr. Mrs. August Ogbene, Deaconess Oborevwori highlighted the role of praying women in the society noting that no home can survive the challenges of life without a steadfast praying woman.

She commended the women for standing in the gap for previous administrations in the state and urged them not to relent in her husband’s administration, which has various people-oriented programmes.

Mrs. Oborevwori commended the officials of the Pastors’ Forum for Sustainable Development, led by Bishop Jude Akhere for their overwhelming support during the elections. She encouraged them to double their prayers now that the Governor has started various projects across the state, adding that, it is only through the prayers that will these MORE Agenda materialize for the benefit of Deltans.

The Christian leaders described Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori as a true daughter of Zion. They praised the commitment of the Governor and his wife to the work of God, which is evident within and beyond the state.

They prayed for the continuous prosperity of the state and God’s wisdom on the Governor, and the success of the first lady’s pet project.
