The Nigerian Navy has scheduled the Batch 38 recruitment interview for shortlisted candidates from Delta State and other South-South states from January 10 to 23, 2026.
In a statement issued on Wednesday 31 December 2025 by the Director-General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, the interview will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Rivers State.
Dr. Oghenesivbe urged all shortlisted candidates to report at the venue with original copies of their academic certificates, valid means of identification, and other relevant documents required for the recruitment process.
He emphasised the need for candidates to approach the exercise with utmost seriousness, adding that successful enlistment into the Navy would contribute significantly to youth empowerment.
“The enlistment aligns perfectly with the job and wealth creation drive under the MORE Agenda of Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori,” Oghenesivbe said.
The Delta State Government, through the bureau chief, encouraged qualified youths to seize the opportunity, noting that the recruitment would bolster national security while providing career prospects for participants.
The statement further highlighted the administration’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for Deltans, in line with the governor’s vision for realistic reforms and enhanced peace.
The government extended best wishes to all participating candidates, expressing hope for their success in the rigorous selection process.
As the interview dates approach, authorities advised candidates to adhere strictly to guidelines to avoid disqualification.
