NCDMB Hosts Data Science Workshop in Delta State, Empowers Youth with ICT Gadgets

A Five -day youth training on data science, skills and human capital development have ended with a call on the participants to make good use of the knowledge acquired.

The Training organized by Pages Spot Construction Limited in collaboration with Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board was aimed at equipping over a hundred youths with knowledge and importance of Data Science.

Addressing the youths at the end of the training program, representative of the Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, Engineer Weyimi Ebiyon, charged the youths to make good use of the opportunity to be well equipped with the knowledge of data science to enable them become well inclined to its importance.

“Data science is one area that if you are really smart, you can make a good living out of it. I tell you every sector rely on data.”

He further appealed to them not to sell their starter pack, but use it to develop themselves, and become self employed.
Others who spoke appreciated NCDMB and President Bola Tinubu for the training program, stressing that such training will greatly help the youths to become entrepreneurs, taking them far away from evil ways of making money.

Some of the beneficiaries appreciated the organizers of the training program, for believing in them and also offer them opportunity to become data science experts.

They praised the NCDMB and President Bola Tinubu for his effort in empowering youths across the nation, stressing that it is way to create a better society.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of laptops, starter pack and certificate to the participating youths.
