NFF President Reaffirms Focus on Grassroots Revival

Ibrahim Gusau, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has reiterated his administration’s dedication to fostering grassroots football, emphasizing that establishing a sustainable football framework must start from the base level.

During the Nigeria National League (NNL) Monthly Awards ceremony held in Abuja, Gusau asserted that enduring football success can only be realized through investment in grassroots initiatives and related leagues, which he termed the “cornerstone for the future” of the sport in Nigeria.

“You can’t construct a building starting from the top,” Gusau remarked. “A major focus of my administration is to revitalize grassroots football.
