Nigeria @ 65: Oborevwori Calls for Unity, Highlights Progress in Nigeria’s Economy

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has urged Nigerians to stay committed to the collective goal of building a stronger, more united country, noting that the nation’s economy has shown meaningful progress.

In his Independence Day message, released through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori encouraged citizens to continue backing President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” as well as the state-led “MORE Agenda.” He described both initiatives as key to improving the quality of life for Nigerians.

He also pointed to major infrastructure projects underway in Delta State, advancements in renewable energy, and targeted efforts to attract foreign investment as part of a broader strategy to grow the state’s economy and create better opportunities for its people.

The governor called on all ethnic communities in Delta to promote peace and unity, emphasizing that true development can only take place in a stable and harmonious environment.

Reaffirming his commitment to inclusive leadership, the governor assured that his administration will keep pushing forward policies and programs aimed at ensuring progress and prosperity for every Deltan.
