Nigeria Battle Sudan in Second CHAN Group Match

According to recent report, Nigeria’s Super Eagles B squad is preparing for their second group encounter against Sudan in the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which is taking place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The tournament standings show that Senegal, Congo, and Sudan are grouped with Nigeria for the CHAN.

Furthermore, the report indicated that the tournament allows the Super Eagles B to choose players solely from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for participation.

It was clearly noted that the Super Eagles secured their spot in the tournament by defeating Ghana in a home-and-away jollof derby.

Before the CHAN, the team played two friendly matches against Zanzibar, ending in a 0-0 draw and a 2-2 tie, after completing a second-phase training camp in Zanzibar from July 25 to July 31.

Nigeria started the tournament with a defeat against Senegal, while Sudan achieved a 1-1 draw against Congo to begin the group stage.
