The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has released a new update regarding the state-owned refineries in Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna.
According to the company, the next step involves selecting technical partners and finalizing necessary agreements for the refineries’ rehabilitation and upgrade.
Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL, Bayo Ojulari, shared this information in a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday.
In his update, Ojulari expressed strong optimism about getting Nigeria’s refineries back to full and efficient operation.
“We’re driven by determination and optimism to make sure our refineries run effectively,” he wrote. “We’re investing time in a thorough review process and are eager to put our findings into action.
“What keeps us motivated is knowing that the progress of Nigeria and the prosperity of its states must always come before personal interests.
“This commitment continues to inspire us as we work toward developing lasting, sustainable solutions for our refineries,” Ojulari added on X.
