No Restriction on Movement in Ughelli, Palace Clarifies

The Ughelli Kingdom has promptly dismissed an online post suggesting that movement had been restricted in Ughelli and surrounding areas.

In an official statement released by the palace, the Otota of the Great Ughelli Kingdom, Olorogun Peter Tobore Akpofure, who spoke on behalf of the Ovie, His Royal Majesty Dr. Wilson O. Oharisi III, JP, made it clear that the monarch had no involvement in or knowledge of the message being circulated.

The palace emphasized that the situation in Ughelli is peaceful and that there are no restrictions on movement, cautioning that such unconfirmed reports could cause unnecessary fear and disrupt daily activities.

Residents were therefore advised to disregard the misleading post and seek information only from recognized and official sources, as the kingdom reiterated its commitment to peace, order, and free movement across the area.
