Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), has applauded the chairman, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, for his “development initiatives”.
The union, during a project tour around the area on Wednesday, concluded that “Warri South LGA now sets the pace on many fronts.”
The NULGE Chairman, Warri Chapter, Comrade Emiko Raymond noted that the Council boss is “people centric” in his approach to governance.
Comrade Raymond, highlighted some of the initiatives of the Local Government boss, which includes, introducing monthly transport stipend for the Council workers, medical health scheme, monetary allowance for the senior citizens in the council area, amongst others.
Meanwhile, in a bid to ensure the success of the newly launched “Operation keep Warri Clean”, The Local Government’s Supervisory Councillor for Environment, Hon. Femi Okorodiden had appointed a total of 100 environmental sweepers and 50 environmental Task Force personnel across the council.
Hon. AmiwePinnickMofe, the Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture further noted that the Council had already acquired some acres of farmland for animal husbandry and cattle ranching under the agricultural scheme.
