Senator Ned Nwoko has toured the Sports University of Nigeria with his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani. The University was established by the Delta North lawmaker in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North, Delta State.
Charani, over the weekend, shared photos of herself and husband on Instagram touring the University.
“Early this morning, I had the pleasure of joining my beloved husband, Prince Ned Nwoko, on an inspection tour of The Sports University of Nigeria,” she wrote.
The Moroccan described the institution as a symbol of Nwoko’s dedication to youth development, education and sports excellence in Nigeria, adding that witnessing its progress firsthand was inspiring.
“This university stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to youth development, education and sports excellence in Nigeria. Seeing the progress firsthand was truly inspiring and I am excited about the impact this institution will have on future generations,” she wrote.
This comes days after Nwoko, 64, denied planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife. He also dismissed reports that the movie star was carrying his child.
It is also rumoured that Nwoko and one of his wives, Regina Daniels, an actress, were having cracks in their marriage. The couple has been silent on the rumour.
