Obi of Ogwashi-Uku visits Deputy Governor, Onyeme

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, on Thursday, assured the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom, HRM Obi (Dr.) Ifechukwude Aninshi Okonjo II of the continued support from the Delta State Government.

This was stated during a visit from the mornach along with his Palace Secretary and other Ogwashi-Uku Chiefs at the Deputy Governor’s office in Asaba.

The Obi of Ogwashi-Uku used the opportunity to formally congratulate the Deputy Governor on his new office and also to brief him on activities in the Kingdom.

The Monarch solicited the support of the government in various ways to move the Kingdom forward and resolve pressing issues such as development, unemployment, security and other traditional related matters.

Onyeme promised the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku of his full support and the support of the Delta State Government in the various highlighted areas.
