Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori, has given approval for the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries into the Delta State Civil Service.
Those appointed are Mr. Okunbor Innocent Victor, who will serve as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Accountant-General, and Engr. (Mrs.) Aboloje Juliet Chukwulozie, who has been posted to the Directorate of Highways as Permanent Secretary.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu.
According to the statement, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are scheduled to be sworn in on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Government House in Asaba.
The move forms part of the Oborevwori administration’s continued efforts to strengthen the civil service through well-considered appointments aimed at improving efficiency, accountability, and service delivery in critical sectors of governance.
The Governor charged the appointees to apply their experience and expertise in the effective performance of their duties, while upholding the values of professionalism, transparency, and dedication in driving the state’s development goals.
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to attract senior government officials, civil servants, and other key stakeholders.
