Oborevwori celebrates media mogul, Obaigbena at 65

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratuled media mogul, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, on his 65th birth anniversary.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori lauded the Chairman/Editor-in-Chief of THISDAY Newspapers Group/Arise News, for his admirable and outstanding contributions to Nigerian media ownership and operations.

According to him, Prince Obaigbena added splendour to the noble profession through well-deserved innovations, earning him the nickname “The Duke” of journalism for his inspirational and leadership efforts.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I congratulate our illustrious son, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, CON, as he celebrates his 65th birth anniversary.

“As former President of the Newspapers Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN), you have made incalculable contributions to journalism and the media. You have effectively established an important network of friends and acquaintances that spans all societal sectors.

“I salute the media maestro, a renowned journalist and one of Delta’s pride, on his 65th birthday. His contributions to the expansion and advancement of Nigeria’s media business will always be remembered in the annals of Nigerian history,” Oborevwori stated.

He prayed to the Almighty God for long life and excellent health for Prince Obaigbena so that he may continue to serve God and humanity.
