Oborevwori congratulates Arthur Akpowowo at 52

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori,Tuesday, felicitated the Deputy Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, on his 52nd birth anniversary.

Governor Oborevwori in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, joined the parliament, Ethiope East constituents, friends, and the family of Akpowowo in celebrating his years of remarkable contributions to the state’s growth and development.

He lauded the Deputy Speaker for his political insight and unparalleled comradeship and sociability with the people of his Eku community in particular and Ethiope East people in general.

The Governor noted that Akpowowo’s political trajectory had witnessed an impressive growth having served as State Youth Leader of the PDP, Special Adviser, Commissioner for Urban Renewal and now Deputy Speaker of the State’s legislature.

“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I celebrate with you, our dear Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, on the occasion of your 52nd birth anniversary.

“Deputy Speaker, I applaud you for joining hands with the Speaker in effectively leading the state legislature and, by all measures, you have left your stamp on Delta politics, by using your privileged positions to better the lot of our dear state and humanity.

“I wish you good health, more fulfilment, and a long life serving the state and humanity as you joyfully celebrate this day,” Oborevwori stated.
