Oborevwori Hails Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh on 10th Coronation Anniversary

Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Mobene III, the Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, on the occasion of his 10th coronation anniversary.

The Governor, represented by the Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, at the colourful event in Ogbe-Ijoh Town, Warri South West Local Government Area, extended warm greetings on behalf of the government and people of Delta State.

He described the monarch’s decade on the throne as a period marked by remarkable leadership, peacebuilding, and service to humanity.

Oborevwori praised the traditional ruler for his role in fostering unity within the Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom and for building cordial relations with neighbouring communities.

According to him, the king’s deliberate efforts to strengthen peace and cooperation had contributed significantly to stability and development in Warri South West and across Delta State.

“His Majesty has demonstrated uncommon dedication to the welfare of his people,” the Governor noted.

“By championing dialogue and harmony, he has created an environment where growth and stability can thrive. These achievements stand as a testament to his wisdom and leadership.”

The Governor also prayed for God’s continuous guidance and strength upon the monarch, wishing him many more years of impactful reign on the throne of his forebears.

He emphasized that the Delta State Government remains committed to supporting traditional institutions in their efforts to promote peace and development.

Oborevwori further applauded the resilience and loyalty of the people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, urging them to continue working with their monarch in pursuit of progress and prosperity.

The 10th coronation anniversary was attended by dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers, who joined in celebrating the milestone and reaffirming support for the monarch’s reign.
