Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State inaugurated multiple projects in Bomadi Local Government Area on Thursday. While addressing attendees, Governor Oborevwori emphasized that the number of projects inaugurated demonstrates that local government councils “are capable of facilitating genuine change when their leaders are dedicated and focused.”

Represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, the governor praised Hon. Dagidi Andaye, the Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, for successfully executing these projects.

He stated, “My administration will persist in backing local governments to ensure tangible benefits for our citizens.”

“Let us advance with optimism; the projects we inaugurated today symbolize progress and a brighter future, reflecting significant initiatives completed under the leadership of Hon. Dagidi Andaye in Bomadi.”

“These developments illustrate his strong commitment to service, unity, and progress, principles that align with our MORE Agenda.”

“Hon. Andaye commenced his journey with a spirit of humility and an earnest desire to serve. Before taking office, he invested ₦50 million of his personal finances to rehabilitate the Bomadi-Ohoro Road, exemplifying true selfless leadership.”

“I have also been informed of additional ongoing projects such as staff quarters, further pavements, and an Internal Audit Block. Furthermore, he has launched the Bomadi Elderly Women Empowerment Programme (BEWEP), demonstrating care for our vulnerable population.”

“These initiatives exemplify effective governance, prioritizing the needs of the people, enhancing infrastructure, and promoting transparency.”
