Oborevwori salutes Prof. Oyovbaire at 83

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated renowned elder statesman and former Minister of Information, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire, as he celebrated his 83rd birth anniversary on Sunday.

Oyovbaire, who is the Chairman of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council, is a renowned academic and astute politician.

Governor Oborevwori in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, praised the esteemed Political Science Professor for his invaluable contributions to the progress and advancement of Delta and Nigeria.

The Governor said that he would always value the former Minister of Information’s fatherly wisdom and counsel.

Oborevwori said: “On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta, I wish to congratulate our father and leader, Prof. (Okakuro) Sam Oyovbaire, on the occasion of his 83rd birth anniversary.

“I congratulate you on your incredible forthrightness, extraordinary patriotism, and astounding dedication to mankind and nation-building as you commemorate this day”.

He joined family members, friends, political associates and other well-wishers in thanking God for an amazing life of fulfilment He had granted Prof. Oyovbaire and wished him good health, peace and long life.
