Oborevwori to declare open Delta Social Media Summit Thursday

The Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, will declare open the second edition of the Delta Social Media Summit on Thursday, August 22nd at the Mariam Babangida Park in Asaba.

This year’s theme, “Harnessing the Power of Social Media,” promises an empowering experience for attendees.

The event boasts an impressive lineup of guest speakers, including Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as Special Guest of Honour, Real Warri Pikin, Mariam Oyakhilome, Lucky Udu, Chief Kestin Pondi, Hilary Owamah, Ikechukwu Oyeka, Harrison Gwamnishu, Bright Edafe, Teacher Chike, Fabric Boss, Confusion Twins, Zion Oshiobugie and others .

According to the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success, “This year’s summit promises to be more educative, productive, empowering, and entertaining than the previous edition.

“We have an impressive lineup of speakers who will share their expertise and experiences on how to harness the power of social media for economic growth and emancipation.

“The event aims to equip Delta State youths and entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively utilize social media platforms for economic growth and emancipation.

“It will address the underutilization of social media in Delta State and explore ways to harness its potential for economic development”, he said.
