The Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Female Youth Development, Engr. Miracle Arimobi has appealed to young women, emphasizing the importance of peaceful and constructive dialogue over protests that might lead to unrest.
In a recent statement, Arimobi acknowledged the passion and commitment of young women in the community, urging them to channel their energy towards collaboration and positive action.
“Your energy and enthusiasm are vital to our progress and future.
“While it’s important to express our views and concerns, we must do so in a way that promotes understanding and unity rather than division.”
Arimobi encouraged female youths to reach out to community leaders and representatives to voice their concerns and propose ideas, highlighting the potential for constructive conversations to lead to meaningful change.
“Instead of protests, let’s focus on solutions and collaboration,” she urged, suggesting that local initiatives and programs aimed at improving the community would greatly benefit from their involvement.
“Your involvement can drive progress and showcase the power of collective action.”
She stressed the importance of using their voices to educate others and raise awareness about significant issues, emphasising the power of informed discussions and the impact of empowering peers with knowledge.
The Special Assistant also called on female youths to offer their time and skills to community projects that need support.
“Volunteering is a powerful way to make a tangible difference and inspire others,” she said.
“Stand together and support one another in positive endeavours. Unity among us strengthens our ability to create change.”
“Remember, your voice matters, and your actions can shape the future, let us work together to build a community where every voice is heard and respected, and where positive change is achieved through peaceful means.”
She mentioned that under the current administration of Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, female youths are well represented and provided with opportunities to enhance their lives, as outlined in the M.O.R.E Agenda.
