Security surveillance has been beef up in many communities of Emu-Ebendo, Obodougwa, Umusam, Ogbeani, Isumpe, Umusadege and Ogbole communities in Ndokwa West local government area of Delta state .
This followed the donation of surveillance vehicles , motorcycles and Very High Frequency Radios to the communities by Energia and Oando Joint Ventures Limited at an event tagged, Host Communities Security Surveillance Support Project 2025 as part of their social responsibility.
At the ceremony in Kwale, the Chief Operating Officer, Energia Limited, Engr. Bash Olademeji reaffirmed the commitment of Energia/Oando Joint Ventures to the security, safety and well-being of their host communities aside the Memorandum of Understanding signed with them.

In a remark, the Permanent Secretary, Delta State Ministry of Oil and Gas, Mr. Frank Omoko urged the host communities to utilize judiciously the items donated to them.

Omoko stressed the need for greater synergy between the oil host communities and security agencies to ensure improved security in the benefitting communities.
In their various goodwill messages, the representative of the Nigerian Army, and the Divisional Police Officer, Kwale and Abbi Divisions ,urged the host communities to make use of the security vehicles and surveillance radio gadgets for the purpose they were provided,
Responding on behalf of the host communities, Chairman, Community Development Committee, Emu-Ebendo, Mr. Sunday Enewuzo lauded Energia, Oando Joint Ventures for their good work in the host communities.
Highlghts of the event included the presentation of 3 Sienna vehicles, 24 motorcycles and over 50 surveillance radio gadgets to the host communities by Energia and Oando Joint Ventures Limited to beef-up security surveillance in the areas.
