As excitement grows across the length and breadth of the three Senatorial zones in the State and preparations hit top gear in anticipation of the One Year Anniversary celebration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori, as the Executive Governor of Delta State, on May 29, 2024, Deltans, especially those at the grassroot and rural areas, are singing, dancing and giving joyful praise and testimonies of happiness and satisfaction to recognize and express their appreciation for the goodness and succour, which the MORE Agenda has delivered to them in the last one year.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori assumed office on May 29, 2023, as the Executive Governor of Delta State, with a firm, unwavering and focused intention that his administration will deliver bountiful democracy dividends to Deltans, as encapsulated in the MORE Agenda, in which the very first mandate is Meaningful Development across the State, by declaring that: “I am determined to ensure that we embark on developmental initiatives and projects that have significance and purpose for our people.
There’s no doubt whatsoever that Meaningful Infrastructural Development, particularly in the rural areas, will not only enhance the living standards and conditions of our people at the grassroot, but it will also provide easy access to the rich and bountiful resources in the rural areas as well as ensure seamless communication, information flow, and unhindered transportation, connecting the entire Delta State as one big family.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is enhancing Delta by quietly but steadily delivering important infrastructural projects and providing the much needed Meaningful Development projects at the critical places where they will positively impact the lives of our peoples, bring smiles to their faces and a sense of belonging to their homesteads and communities.
OBOREVWORI is working, and Deltans are seeing it.
