Over 600 Benefit from Senators Medical Outreach

Senator Ned Nwoko has once again underscored his firm dedication to ensuring access to affordable and quality healthcare by rolling out a comprehensive medical outreach across communities in the Delta North Senatorial District.

The most recent exercise provided free medical services to hundreds of residents in Agbor, within Ika South Local Government Area, and Ibusa in Oshimili North Local Government Area, as well as beneficiaries from nearby communities.

The two-day programme brought together a team of visiting doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who attended to people of all ages, responding to a wide range of health concerns. Beneficiaries received detailed medical consultations and treatment for conditions such as eye and dental issues, fever-related illnesses, hypertension, and other common ailments. The outreach also featured surgical procedures and diagnostic X-ray services.

At the close of the programme, free medications and eyeglasses were distributed, offering relief and renewed hope to many participants. The initiative was met with heartfelt prayers and commendation, particularly from elderly beneficiaries who expressed deep appreciation for the Senator’s continued support for grassroots healthcare.

Speaking to over 600 beneficiaries through his representative, the Chief of Staff, Dr. Michael Nwoko, Senator Nwoko emphasized that the health and well-being of the people remain at the heart of his public service. He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the interests of all Delta North residents, regardless of ethnic, religious, or political differences.

The Senator further explained that while lawmaking remains his core constitutional responsibility, he places significant importance on social welfare and infrastructure development as critical components of improving the living standards of his constituents.
