Owners of Educational Facilities in Warri Participate in School Growth Conference

It was a rejuvenating experience for school owners and teachers in Warri and its environs as they participated in the Warri School Owners and Teachers Growth Conference, held at the NNPC Junior Staff Club, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area.

The conference, sponsored by Charissa Food Lounge and Mart, was facilitated by the Centre for Education Development, Abuja, led by Dr. Afolabi Adun.

The nine-hour, activity-driven workshop was designed with separate sessions for school owners and teachers, aimed at enhancing professional competence, equipping educators with modern pedagogical skills, and strengthening school leadership for improved teaching and learning outcomes.

In his address, the CEO of Charissa Food Lounge, Deacon Emman Agwemuria, emphasized the importance of continuous professional development, stressing that the quality of education is directly tied to the quality of teachers.

He expressed his organization’s readiness to continue supporting initiatives that promote educational growth.

Deacon Agwemuria also unveiled some of Charissa’s educational support packages, including the Charissa Kiddies Schools Birthday Package, School Christmas Party Packages, Mathematics Quiz Competitions, and Inter-House Sports Refreshment Programmes.

The lead facilitator and host of the conference, Dr. Afolabi Adun, took participants through practical sessions on student-centered teaching, effective classroom management, and the integration of technology in education.

He encouraged both school owners and teachers to implement the strategies learned to drive educational transformation in their institutions.

Some Teachers and school owners also engaged in group discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises, all tailored to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students.

Participants described the workshop as timely and impactful, noting that the knowledge gained would greatly enhance their teaching approaches and positively influence student outcomes.

As part of the closing ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to Charissa Food Lounge and Mart, Globus Bank as participants also received certificates of participation, marking the successful conclusion of the impactful seminar.
