PAP: Niger Delta group urges Tinubu not to sack Otuaro

The Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (NDADN), has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to sack Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro as the Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).

The group made the call on Monday in Warri, Delta State, in a statement signed by Kimse Eworigha, Acting National Chairman; Comrade Endurance Eferusuoa, National Secretary; Mr. Clement Iyebo, National Publicity Secretary.

It warned mischief-makers calling for the sack of Otuaro to desist, adding that President Tinubu should ignore them.

“Your Excellency Sir, we, the leadership, stakeholders and State Coordinators of the aforementioned organization respectfully write to you concerning the recent call by the “Coalition of Civil Society Organization” demanding removal of Dennis Burutu Otuaro (PhD) as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP)”.

“This demand is completely misguided, faulty and unreasonable . Because Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro appointment is a square peg in a square hole and we strongly believe in him and we fully support him to achieve the aims and objectives of the Amnesty Program”

The group said those calling for Otuaro’s removal are enemies of the Niger Delta, who do not want the progress, growth and development of the Niger Delta Region.

“Dennis Burutu Otuaro has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the delegates of the Presidential Amnesty Program and the people of the Niger Delta throughout his career. The New Administrator, Dennis Burutu Otuaro (PhD) is a product of the struggle, hence his appointment is the best decision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
