Towards strengthening the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Udu Local Government Area, acting executives have been inaugurated for the ten wards in the council area.
Inaugurating the ward executives, the Acting Chairman of PDP in Udu LGA, Comrade Johnbull Kenairu, charged them to work in unity and carry members along in all activities to ensure the party’s victory in the 2027 general elections.
The Acting Chairman of PDP, in Udu Local Government Area, Comrade Johnbull Kenairu, said the party is daily gaining momentum and influence in the locality noting that the challenge that rocked the party at the beginning of the year was a test of the loyalty of many members, but it has been surmounted.
He said that some members who earlier left the party have returned and many are expected to come back to the PDP fold as the doors of the party are open to all.
The Udu PDP Chairman, however, warned the new Executives of each Ward, who were represented by their chairmen, against anti-party and high-handedness, stressing that any leader found wanting would be disciplined.
Comrade Kenairu, who tasked the members to remain loyal and faithful to the PDP, assured that the Party is being repositioned for total victory in 2027. He further assured them that they have a lot to benefit from the PDP as long as they are loyal to it.

The Udu PDP Chairman hailed the immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro and a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Peter Mrakpo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, for their support to the Party.
The Acting woman leader of the PDP in Udu Local Government Area, Mrs Okiemute and the leader of Arewa Hausa Community in the locality, Mustapha Suleiman, said that the PDP is the best party for Nigerians because of its manifestos and internal democracy.
They urged the residents of Udu Local Government Area to register with the PDP. Other leaders of PDP in Udu Local Government Area who spoke pledged to double efforts in rebuilding the party.
