Police Nab Female Drug Suspect in Delta

Officers from the Delta State Police Command have arrested a 26-year-old woman, Tare Orusanaye, on suspicion of drug dealing.

According to the police spokesperson, Bright Edafe, she was apprehended by operatives from the Ugborikoko Division during a raid at a location along Jakpa Road in Effurun.

During the operation, officers recovered items believed to be cannabis, a weighing scale, tobacco, and a container allegedly used to conceal the substances.

In a separate operation, Edafe disclosed that officers from the Ovwian-Aladja Division discovered a sack containing suspected hard drugs in the Igbogidi area.

The individual linked to the items reportedly fled upon sighting the police, abandoning the substances. Authorities say efforts are ongoing to track down the suspect and bring all those connected to the case to justice.
