Residents of Usiefrun Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State have appealed to both the Federal and State Governments to urgently intervene in the persistent flooding ravaging their community.
The appeal was made during a media interaction, where affected residents lamented the hardship and disruptions caused by the flood, which they say has rendered many homeless and destroyed farmlands and properties.

Speaking to newsmen, some of the residents of Usiefrun explained that they wondered why Julius Berger refused to link the flyover drainage system to the existing one, saying that they have been facing the challenge of flood since the construction of the flyover.
