The Rotary Club of Plantation City has installed Rotarian Festius Idabe as her 6th President. Speaking at the installation ceremony the Rotary international District 9141 Governor Rotarian Anthony Worighain who was represented by an assistant District Governor zone 6 Rotarian Nicholas Otobo urged members of the club to give the newly installed president the needed support to succeed.
He asked the newly installed President Rotary Club of plantation city Rotarian Festus Idabe and members of the clubs board of directors to ensure they grow the number of members of the club and contribute to Rotary foundation.
Rotarian Worighain reminded them to ensure they key into the District Governor’s Pet project which is water for all by providing bore hole water to communities in their mandate areas.
In his remarks shortly after installation as President, Rotarian Festius Idabe said the club has earmarked the sum of seventeen million six hundred and fifty thousand naira for the execution of project for 2025/2026 Rotary year.
The newly installed president while appealing to Rotarians and friends of the club to donate generously to the successful execution of the projects disclosed that when executed the projects are expected to promote peace , support education, fight Diseases grow small and medium local business, support mother and child health amongst others.
Rotarian Festus Idabe disclosed that his vision is to strengthen the club’s impact, foster fellowship, drive meaningful projects, and increase Foundation giving.

The immediate Past President Rotarian Kingsley Azubuike while handing over the mantle of leadership to Rtn Festus Idabe urged members of the club to give more support to the newly installed President.
He disclosed that during his tenure they were able to embark on meaningful projects that cut across the seven areas of focus of Rotary international.
