Royal Iwere Foundation launches ‘EstablishHer’ fund to empower women

Olori Atuwatse III, through the Royal Iwere Foundation in partnership with Stanbic IBTC Bank, on Saturday launched the EstablishHer Entrepreneurship Fund, a six-month initiative aimed at empowering women through access to networks, capacity building, and capital.

The inaugural cohort of 140 women marks the beginning of a long-term vision to reach 100,000 women across Delta State and, eventually, the African continent.

Women have always been economic anchors in their communities. In places like Warri, 70% of women are primary providers, supporting large households and driving informal markets.

EstablishHer, championed by Olori Atuwatse III, is designed to unlock the potential of these women, many of whom lead without formal recognition. By bridging the gap between effort and opportunity, and partnering with institutions committed to real impact, the programme lays the groundwork for a new generation of resilient, investible, women-led businesses.
