Seadogs donates educational materials to primary schools in Delta to commemorate Int’l Day of Education

National Association of Seadogs, Dolphin Deck, has donated writing and instructional materials worth hundreds of thousands of naira to some primary schools in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta.

The beneficiaries were the Ezeti Primary School, Ukabi, and Akakpani Primary School, Akakpani Umuseti both of Ndokwa West.

The donation was in commemoration of the “2024 International Day of Education”.

The theme for the celebration was, “Learning for lasting Peace”.

Addressing the pupils, president of the association, Mr Boniface Ossai, said that the aim was to aid their learning in the school.

The president used the opportunity to intimate the heads of the two schools, who received the materials on behalf of the pupils, on the aims and objectives of the association as well as the importance of the educational materials.

“To mark this year’s International Day of Education with the theme, “Learning for lasting Peace”.

“The National Association of Seadogs, Dolphin Deck, participated massively by donating educational materials to Ezeti Primary School, Ukabi, and Akakpani Primary School, Akakpani Umuseti both in Ndokwa East LGA Area of Delta State.

“The association donated dozens of note books, biros, pencils and all instructional materials to aid the pupils in their education,” Ossai said.

Responding, Mr Chijine Robinson, Head of Ezeti Primary School, and his colleague in Akakpani Primary School, Mrs Chegwe Patience, thanked the association for the kind gesture.

The duo said that many of the pupils didn’t come to school because of lack of funds to buy their learning books.

Items donated included: dozens of notebooks, biros, pencils, and all other instructional materials.

The event was applauded by the staff of the two schools, the pupils, and the communities.
