Speaker Guwor Inspects Constituency Projects In Warri

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has visited different projects sited at Warri South West constituency, which are at various stages of development.

In a statement posted on the Delta State Assembly Facebook page on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, Rt Hon Guwor visited some of the project sites located across the ten wards in Warri South West Constituency to gain firsthand knowledge of their completion status.

The sites visited include the classroom blocks at Raymond Primary School, Costain, Ugborodo modern market, Ogidigben Road Project, Ogidigben Hospital project, Madangho community Road Project, Oporoza School project, Battan school renovation, Naifor Island School, and various community solar-powered street lighting projects.

Others include a housing unit project at Akpakpa, Oporoza town hall, renovation of a six-classroom block at Bisobo Primary School, Pina Zion, a concrete landing jetty at Opuedebubor, a housing project at Kantu, Oporoza Market, Kantu Road Project, Ijaghalla Road Project, and Okerenkoko-Pepeama-Kokodiagbene Road, Okerenkoko.

The speaker, who was represented by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, reiterated that these projects, when completed, will improve living standards in the riverine communities.

He gave assurance to his constituents and residents of Warri South West that Governor Oborevwori’s administration is building a sustainable foundation for long-term development in the area and Delta State in general.

While urging the people to remain vigilant and committed to protecting public infrastructure against vandalism, the Speaker pledged to attract more government infrastructural projects in the area and thanked the constituents for their support at all times.

The residents who came out en masse expressed their appreciation to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Speaker Emomotimi Guwor for attracting the projects to their communities, as well as other dividends of democracy.

They assured the duo of their prayers and support as they navigate the ship of governance and development in the state.
