It was gathered that about nine suspected kidnappers were nabbed by Alihame Vigilante Group (AVG) at an uncompleted building by Oriri axis, Agbor-Obi, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, following a distress call by a resident in the area.

Upon arriving at Board Road, Alihame, the incident attracted residents from different areas of the community. The AVG immediately alerted policemen.

While policemen were taking them to the station, the mob got hold of one of them and dragged him out of the police van.

The exhibits and the rest of the suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
