Tinubu Honours NDDC Boss Ogbuku With National Award for Infrastructure Excellence

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku, has received the Distinguished Award for Excellence in Infrastructure Delivery and Sustainable Regional Growth at this year’s Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).

The honour, organised by The Best Strategic (TBS) Media in partnership with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, was presented on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the SGF, Senator George Akume. In the President’s remarks, Ogbuku was commended for his leadership and the strides the NDDC has made in strengthening infrastructure and improving development outcomes across the Niger Delta.

Held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja, the event gathered top government officials, policymakers, and development partners who applauded the Commission’s ongoing efforts to boost regional growth.

The award marks a significant recognition of Ogbuku’s role in repositioning the NDDC and driving impactful projects that advance sustainable development in communities across the region.
