Tinubu Dismisses Bias Claims, Vows to Serve All Nigerians Equally

President Bola Tinubu has restated his commitment to serving all Nigerians equally, regardless of their geopolitical zone.

Tinubu made this known in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen by Bayo Onanuga, his Special Adviser Information and Strategy.

He directly addressed concerns about the equitable distribution of federal projects, asserting that his administration’s actions are guided by a national, not sectional, vision.

Tinubu emphasised that every project, from the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway in the South to the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway in the North, is a “national asset” aimed at benefiting all citizens.

He highlighted a range of major infrastructure projects currently underway across the country to support this claim, including the rehabilitation of health centers, light rail projects in Lagos, Ogun, Kano, and Kaduna, and the revival of the 255MW power plant in Kaduna.

The President noted that these projects are creating over 250,000 jobs nationwide and are designed to improve the lives of all Nigerians, from farmers to traders and students.

He pointed to specific projects as examples of his administration’s unifying vision, such as the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail line, the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway, the second Niger Bridge in Onitsha, and the Bodo-Bonny road in Rivers State.

Tinubu also highlighted economic initiatives, including the expansion of oil exploration in Bauchi and Gombe states and the progress of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline, which has successfully crossed the River Niger.

He declared that under his “Renewed Hope” agenda, “No Nigerian is second class, no region is left behind.”

Tinubu urged citizens to “Bet on Nigeria” and work together to rise as “one nation, one people, and one destiny.”
