The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, Dr. Nelson Egware, says Rep. Jonathan Ukodhiko has delivered impactful legislation and major grassroots development for Isoko North and South Federal Constituency between 2023 and 2025.
In a statement on Thursday, Egware noted that Ukodhiko championed key motions including ending gas flaring for electricity generation in Isoko communities and the rehabilitation of the East-West Road—a push that has resulted in ongoing federal repairs across the Delta–Bayelsa–Rivers corridor.
He added that Ukodhiko sponsored bills to establish critical institutions, including a Federal Medical Centre in Oleh, University of Agriculture in Erawha-Owhe, College of Entrepreneurship in Olomoro, and federal colleges for Nursing/Midwifery and Technical Education in Owhelogbo and Oleh.
He also backed the amendment of the University Teaching Hospital Act, now awaiting Senate concurrence.
Egware highlighted 2024 budget-year projects such as solar streetlights, classrooms, medical equipment, school furniture, and empowerment programmes that trained 200+ women with grants, enrolled 250 constituents in ₦50,000 federal grants, supported flood victims via NEMA, and secured 150+ NDE/NDE training slots.

Education support saw 400 students receive free JAMB registration and CBT training, plus 10 full-tuition university scholarships in Medicine, Law, Engineering, and Pharmacy.
By 2025, constituency projects worth ₦3.1 billion were completed or in progress, with an additional ₦2 billion personally lobbied for by the lawmaker beyond his statutory allocations.
Political analysts and constituents say the scorecard reflects responsive representation, balanced project spread, human-capital investment, and sustained social welfare across Isoko land.
