Ukodhiko felicitates Isoko-nation, Nigerians on Democracy day

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko has felicitated with the people of Isoko-nation, Deltans and other Nigerians on this year’s Democracy Day today, June 12.

In his message marking the ‘June 12 Democracy Day’ on Thursday, the House of Representatives member Ukodhiko, stated that, “each year affords us opportunity to reflect on how far we have come as a people.

Hon. Ukodhiko acknowledged the efforts of both the Federal Government and the Delta State Government to improve the economy and ensure socio-economic stability of the nation and state.

Noting that Agenda of the President Tinubu and Gov. Oborevwori have not only laid foundations for sustained growth, but are improving public services, better economic opportunities and a better environment for foreign investors.

The Federal lawmaker heartily congratulate the good people of Isoko Federal Constituency, Deltans and all Nigerians on this year’s Democracy Day, June 12.

Asserting that this is the time for us all alive, to restate our hope and patriotism in our country, Nigeria, and reaffirm our commitment to unity, peace, social justice, values which underpin our democracy.

Hon. Ukodhiko stated, that this time calls for genuine and purposeful dialogue, negotiation and understanding as we celebrate this year’s Democracy Day.

Reassuring the people of Isoko and Nigeria of good enabling laws that will see to the delivery of the desired dividends of democracy.
