United Nigeria Airlines Resumes Lagos, Abuja–Warri flights August 25

The United Nigeria Airlines has announced that it will start flying again to Warri. Flights from Lagos and Abuja to Osubi Airport will begin on August 25, 2025.

This information was shared in a statement from the airline’s spokesperson, Chibuike Uloka.

Uloka said this development shows United Nigeria Airlines is committed to offering reliable, smooth, and customer-focused air travel across Nigeria.

The statement also included comments from Mazi Osita Okonkwo, the Chief Operating Officer of United Nigeria Airlines.

He explained that returning to Warri will help improve connections between people and businesses, while keeping up the airline’s good reputation for being on time, safe, and providing excellent service.

He also mentioned that as part of the airline’s growth plan, United Nigeria will start direct flights from Lagos and Abuja to Ilorin, open a new route from Abuja to Sokoto, and begin flights from Lagos and Abuja to Accra, Ghana on October 17, 2025.
More destinations are planned soon.

Also Recall that One of Nigeria’s domestic airlines, Overland Airways, has resumed flight operations to Warri, (Osubi Airport), Delta State from Lagos and Abuja.

The Overland Airways expanding route network has seen the restoration of flight services from Lagos and Abuja to Jalingo, Taraba State; and commencement of new services from Lagos and Abuja to Minna, Niger State. The Warri route is the latest route while plans are afoot to launch other routes in the months ahead.
