The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set 150 as the benchmark score for university admissions across Nigeria for the upcoming academic year.
This decision was finalised on Tuesday during the 2025 Policy Meeting on Admissions, convened at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
During the meeting, other minimum entry requirements were also determined: polytechnics will require a score of 100, colleges of education will also set their cut-off at 100.
