WAFCON: Gusau Praises Super Falcons Over Win Against Morocco

According to a recent report, it has been stated that Ibrahim Gusau, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has praised the Super Falcons for their outstanding achievement at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The report indicates that the Super Falcons secured the WAFCON title for the tenth time after a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Morocco in Rabat on Saturday night.

Justine Madugu’s team came back from a two-goal deficit to clinch the exciting match.

Gusau commended the determination and fighting spirit displayed by the players.

“I am extremely pleased because our girls came back from the brink, as the saying goes, and fought their way to victory. This was an exceptional performance. I congratulate them on their resilience.”

The Super Falcons received a reward of $1 million for being crowned champions at the WAFCON 2024 finals.
