Warri, the bustling commercial center of Delta State, is preparing for the vibrant Delta Peace Infotainment Concert on June 19, a much-awaited event aimed at soothing escalating tensions and promoting harmony among affected communities in the state.
Leading this significant initiative is Afrobeat sensation Harrysong, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Utilizing his influence in the music scene alongside his governmental position, Harrysong is aiming to tackle the emotional and psychological impacts resulting from recent communal conflicts.
The concert is organized in response to increasing unrest and community disputes that have disrupted stability in various parts of Delta State.
Many individuals are experiencing fear, uncertainty, and division due to the situation—particularly the youth, who frequently suffer the most from these clashes.

“Music has the ability to unite people when words fall short. This concert is our call for togetherness, our plea for peace,” he asserted in a statement before the event.
Supported by Henric Empire Gardens, the Delta Peace Infotainment Concert aims to create an opportunity for healing, conversation, and entertainment.
It will unite artists, cultural leaders, and influential figures from all corners of the state to emphasize the message that peace is attainable—even in the most divided communities.
