Warri South Council steps up “Operation Zero Tolerance to Potholes”

The Executive Council of Warri South Local Government, has stepped up the “Operation Zero Tolerance to Potholes and Proper Marking of Roads” in Warri, with the release of a dedicated contact for residents of Warri South to report portholes sighted in major roads and streets in the Council area.                                 

Recall that Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads) Comrade Reuben Rume Yakubu Izeze, had on Friday September 2024, flagged off the first phase of the “Operation Zero Tolerance To Potholes and Proper Marking of Roads” initiated by the Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac administration of Warri South Local Government Area.                                             

The Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, who addressed journalists in Warri, Tuesday January 21, on behalf of the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, noted that the Council decided to release the dedicated contact, to enable citizens promptly report incidents of potholes found in major roads and streets in Warri South Local Government Area, so as to make the roads safer for commuters

He urged residents of Warri, to do short audio – visual recording of potholes found in their area, indicating the precise location/spot and send same via WhatsApp to 08109982036.                             

He assured that genuine reports, would be adequately addressed, in-line with his administration’s policy of making Warri South Local Government Area more attractive to local and foreign investors.
