The 2025 NOG Energy Week commenced with an esteemed golf tournament held at the picturesque TYB International Golf Resort, establishing a relaxed yet significant atmosphere for the week-long oil and gas event.

Situated in the Federal Capital Territory, TYB’s verdant fairways welcomed golf enthusiasts, business executives, and energy stakeholders from all over Nigeria, merging sport with networking in a setting of camaraderie and competition throughout the weekend.

Mr. Akabom Enebong, Chairman of the FCT Golf Association, who took part in the tournament and subsequently presented several awards to the winners, took the opportunity to urge the NOG Energy Week organisers to establish the golf tournament as a permanent annual event in Abuja.

“I conveyed my heartfelt gratitude to the NOG organisers and DMD Events for once again incorporating golf into the week’s agenda. I encouraged them to persist in their support for the sport in Abuja by making the tournament a regular occurrence in the FCT.

Golf transcends being merely a game—it serves as a means for wellness, high-level networking, and community development that aligns seamlessly with the ethos of NOG,” Enebong remarked.

In attendance at the tournament were the vice-captain and Lady Captain of TYB Golf Club, who contributed elegance and distinction to the event. Additionally, Pro Oche, the long-serving tournament coordinator and current captain of the FCT golf team, played a pivotal role, ensuring the event’s successful execution once again.
