We’re Grateful for Ohoror-Bomadi Road: Bomadi Chairman, Andaye

The Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Andaye has expressed appreciation to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his bold people oriented interventionist projects which has been lacking in riverine communities for over 16 years.

Speaking during the inauguration of the  31-kilometre Ohoror-Bomadi road, Hon. Andaye said the newly inaugurated road project would not only drastically reduce accidents but also improve livelihoods and ease the movement of people, goods and services across the state.

He commended Governor Oborevwori for his inclusive governance style and commitment to development of parts of the State.

Hon. Andaye reiterated his commitment towards supporting the Governor and President Bola Tinubu to deliver dividends of democracy to the people and massively support their reelection bid in 2027.

The Bomadi Council Chairman noted that the completion of the road has brought relief to residents, many of whom had suffered economic hardship due to poor access and high transportation costs.

During the inauguration, Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, said the 31-kilometre road project which traverses multiple communities, features modern engineering solutions such as sand filling, soil stabilization, concrete reinforcement, embankment protection and asphalt surfacing to ensure durability in difficult terrain.
