In preparation for the yuletide season, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), has allocated ₦200 million for the procurement of items to be distributed across Delta State.

During the inauguration of the committee responsible for overseeing the distribution, Osanebi highlighted the economic challenges currently faced by many and expressed his commitment to bringing joy to his people during the yuletide season.

“My goal is to put smiles on as many faces as possible. Seeing my people happy gives me immense joy,” Osanebi stated. He also encouraged other affluent individuals in Delta State to assist as many people as they can during this period.

The eight-member distribution committee, chaired by Chief Lucas Obiosa with Idi Presley as the secretary, includes Chief Nkencho Kingsley, Oputa Kris, Churchill Oyem, Chief Gregory Onah, Mrs. Ann Olisa, and Uju Eke Patricia.

Items to be distributed include trailer loads of rice, cows, goats, cash, groundnut oil, tinned tomatoes, and other essential goods. Osanebi urged the committee to approach their task with diligence and proactivity to ensure fair and effective distribution.
