The Ndokwa Youth Leaders Assembly (NYLA) has intensified grassroots mobilisation for the 2027 general elections by inaugurating unit coordinators across all 546 polling units in Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, and Ukwuani local government areas of Delta State.
The ceremony, held in Ogume, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, signals a strategic push to consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, whom the group described as architects of renewed hope and accelerated development.
NYLA National President, Comrade Hon Enebeli Ernest Brown, who presided over the event, said the inauguration was designed to rejig the organisation’s structure at the grassroots level for more effective mobilisation. He emphasised that grassroots engagement remains the bedrock of electoral success in any democracy.
“The move is to strengthen our base and ensure robust support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027,” Brown declared. He charged the new unit coordinators to act as dedicated ambassadors of NYLA in their polling units, working tirelessly to expand the group’s influence and achieve set targets.
Brown further stressed the importance of commitment and dedication, noting that unit coordinators must prioritise expanding the frontiers of the organisation to deliver overwhelming victories.
Immediate past Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ndokwa West LGA and prominent Ndokwa youth leader, Comrade Nzete Anslem, commended NYLA’s leadership for the innovative step of taking activities down to the polling unit level. He expressed admiration for the initiative and pledged his continued backing.

A major highlight of the event was the passage of a vote of confidence in President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, praising their leadership for bringing renewed hope, infrastructure upgrades, and meaningful development to Delta State and the nation.
The group also expressed profound appreciation to its Board of Trustees Chairman and Delta State Commissioner for Energy, Engr Michael Anoka, for his invaluable leadership and support, which have enabled NYLA to pursue and achieve its objectives effectively.
